Golden Triangle with Amritsar Tour - 9 Days

This wonderful tour will start in New Delhi where you will be greeted by one of our team members at IGI airport with beautiful flowers who will then take you to the hotel to take some rest after completing check-in formalities. The sightseeing will begin in the afternoon with a visit to the Red Fort and Jama Masjid followed by an amazing Rickshaw Ride at the busy Chandni Chowk market where you can also taste some delicious local dishes. If you like the rich aroma of authentic India spices then you can also visit the famous spice market which is located close to this place.

The second day of tour is reserved for the sightseeing in New Delhi where you will be exploring the Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb in the beginning followed by your visit to the India Gate and Connaught Place to buy some very good quality handicrafts items from some famous shops where local artists are making these things for generations. You can also go to Lotus Temple and Akshardham Temple in the evening if time permits before coming back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

You should start travelling towards Agra on the third day after having your breakfast which is well known for the Taj Mahal and other famous places. This journey will take four hours and you will reach at your destination in the afternoon. You should take some rest after meeting your tour guide in Hotel’s lobby before going to visit Agra’s famous markets such as Sadar Bazar or Chaat Gali in the evening to taste some delicious street food dishes.

Today is a very special day because you will be visiting the magnificent Taj Mahal at the time of sunrise. So, you need to wakeup little early today to meet your tour guide who will then take you to the Taj. It is a huge complex but you can comfortably spend more than two hours to capture beautiful memories of your life in the camera. You will be exploring the massive Agra Fort in the afternoon followed a five-hour journey in the evening to reach Jaipur which is also known as the Pink City of India.

Your sightseeing in Jaipur will start with a visit to the Hawa Mahal which is popularly known as the Palace of Winds among international travellers followed by exploring Jantar Mantar and City Palace to get familiar with the royalty of Rajput Kings. If you want to discover more than Sawai Maan Singh Museum would be great place to experience the rich lifestyle of Rajasthani kings. You will be going to Chokhi Dhani in the evening to enjoy a Folk Dance performance followed by a delicious dinner prepared by local people.

Today’s tour plan will start with a visit to the Amber Fort where you will be riding an elephant to reach the courtyards but Jeep is also an option if you are an animal lover. Jal Mahal Places is next in the list which is situated in the middle of Maan Sagar Lake. You can also visit Jaipur’s local markets in the afternoon to buy some precious gemstones and jewellery items before travelling towards New Delhi for almost five hours in the evening for an overnight stay.

You will be travelling towards Amritsar in the second part of this Golden Triangle Tour on the 7th day after a delicious breakfast at the hotel. It would be a 9-hour long journeys with a couple of breaks on the way for snacks and meals to cover a distance of 470 kilometres from New Delhi. You should have your dinner and take rest for the night after reaching your hotel in Amritsar.

Your sightseeing tour in Amritsar will begin by visiting the famous Golden Temple which is a holy Gurudwara followed by a visit to the Akal Takht and Jallianwala Bagh in the afternoon. The next place that you will be visiting today is the Wagah Border to watch a performance by Indian soldiers. If you want to try some local dishes such as Amritsari kulcha or Paneer tikka then you can also visit some famous food shops with your tour guide. You should come back to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay after having a delicious Punjabi dinner at Haveli restaurant.

Today is the last day of this Golden Triangle with Amritsar Tour and you should start travelling towards Delhi early morning after finishing your breakfast at the hotel. You will reach New Delhi by the evening after completing a 9 hour long journey from Amritsar and your driver will drop you at the airport so that you can catch a flight back to your home.
