DAY – 01 (ARRIVAL AT DELHI)
The Golden Triangle with Orchha Tour for 8 Days starts with your warm welcome at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. One of our team members will take you to the hotel so that you can take some rest before visiting Old Delhi to get familiar with the culture of India. Your sightseeing tour will begin with an amazing Rickshaw Ride in the narrow streets of Chandni Chowk which is the busiest market in India and it has many spice shops and food stalls where you can taste some local dishes. Next in the list is the Janpath Market which is a nice place to buy handicrafts and souvenirs. You should also spend some time at India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan in the evening before going back to the hotel for overnight stay after a delicious dinner.
DAY 02 – (DELHI SIGHTSEEING)
This day’s sightseeing will start after breakfast with a visit to the Qutub Minar which is a heritage site and the tallest minaret in India. Next place that you will be visiting today is the Lotus Temple which has a unique flower shaped design and peaceful environment. You will be exploring the Humayun’s Tomb in the afternoon which has a brilliant architectural style before going to Akshardham Temple in the evening to enjoy a light and sound show. DAY 03 – (DELHI TO JAIPUR)
The third day of this wonderful tour will start with a tasty breakfast at the hotel before going on a 5-hour journey to reach Jaipur which is popularly known as the Pink City among international tourists. You should take rest for some time at the hotel before starting the sightseeing with a visit to Johri Bazar which is one of the colourful markets in Jaipur. Chokhi Dhani is a good place to visit in the evening where you can enjoy many culture shows such as a traditional folk dance before having a multi-cuisine dinner.
DAY 04 – (JAIPUR SIGHTSEEING)
You should start the day 4 with a visit to the magnificent Amer Fort that is located on top of the hill and you can enjoy the spectacular view of the city from here. Then you should go to the Nahargarh Fort which is known for beautiful sunset views. Next place in the itinerary is the Hawa Mahal that was built for royal women to view celebrations on road side from their closed rooms. You should also visit the Jal Mahal palace in the evening which is located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake where you can take some good pictures.
DAY 05 – (JAIPUR TO AGRA)
You need to wakeup little early today and start travelling towards Agra after finishing your breakfast at the hotel. Fatehpur Sikri is a good place on the way to Agra that you should visit. Although this is a small town but it has served as the capital of Mughal empire at the time of Akbar. You should take some rest after reaching hotel and then go for the sightseeing and visit Baby Taj and Mehtab Bagh. You should also taste a few local dishes that are famous in Agra such as “Bedai” and “Petha”.
DAY 06 – (AGRA TO ORCHHA)
Today is the most prominent day of this tour as you will be visiting the magnificent Taj Mahal at the time of sunrise when this monument looks the most beautiful. After spending two hours here and clicking some good pictures, you should go to the Agra Fort which is also a heritage site. You should start travelling towards Orchha after lunch to reach here by the evening. Orchha is a small town located on the banks of Betwa River and it has many old temples where your will find a very peaceful environment.
DAY 07 – (ORCHHA TO AGRA)
You should start the sightseeing after having a delicious breakfast at the hotel by visiting some prominent places such as the “Chhatris” that are located near the river. You must attend the prayers at the Ram Raja Temple with your tour guide before exploring other places. You will also be visiting the splendid Raja Mahal and Jahangir Mahal before travelling back to Agra for an overnight stay.
DAY 08 – (AGRA TO DELHI)
If you want to do some shopping in Agra then you will get enough time in the morning to explore some colourful markets to buy some items. You can also go on a heritage walk in the old city to discover some of oldest markets and food streets where tourists love to taste a few local dishes. You should start travelling towards Delhi in the afternoon to catch a flight from the airport back to your home.
