Golden Triangle with Rishikesh Tour - 8 Days

This tour starts as soon as you arrive at the IGI International airport where our team member will welcome and then take you to your pre-booked hotel. After taking some rest, you need to get ready to explore the commercial hub of Delhi which is Connaught Place also known as Rajiv Chowk these days. This place is located in the center of the capital and it has many good quality restaurants for meals and mega stores where you can do some shopping. You will be visiting the Jama Masjid and the colourful Chandni Chowk market to enjoy Rickshaw Ride in the evening. You should come back to your hotel after this great sightseeing for an overnight stay after dinner.

The second day of this tour will begin with the views of some important monuments in Delhi. After having a delightful breakfast at the restaurant in hotel, you need to go to explore India Gate which is a war memorial and Humayun’s Tomb which is a heritage site that is made of red sandstone and white marble. Now you should visit the Qutub Minar which is another heritage site in Delhi and a victory tower. You can enjoy the amazing view of Akshardham Temple in the afternoon which is completely made from pink sandstone. Start your journey towards Agra in the evening which is the next destination of this tour package.

Wake up early in the morning this day so that you can visit all important tourist places in Jaipur. Start the sightseeing with Amber Fort which is located on a hilltop and offers fabulous view of “Maota Lake” and the Aravalli hills. Visit City Palace which is a royal residence where you can learn about the rich lifestyle of the royal Rajput families. Just beside this palace stands the Jantar Mantar which is well known for its astronomical instruments and from where you can observe celestial bodies.

The fifth day of this tour will start with a visit to Hawa Mahal which is also known as Palace of Winds among tourists. It has numerous small windows and balconies that makes it unique and it was built for royal women to watch street life without being seen by anyone. You need to travel for 5-6 hours to reach Delhi in the afternoon. You can see the lives of people in India during this journey and relax in your car. Complete the check-in formalities after reaching your hotel and in the evening visit local markets and taste some local dishes and food items.

Start travelling towards Rishikesh after finishing your breakfast at the hotel which is your next destination for sightseeing. Located in the foothills of Himalayas, Rishikesh is popularly known as the Yoga Capital of India among tourists and it takes approx. 5 hours to reach here by road that passes through beautiful mountains and rivers. You should visit Triveni Ghat in the evening after taking some time to rest in your hotel where you can participate in Ganga Aarti which is a beautiful Hindu ritual that happens on the ghats.

The seventh day of this wonderful tour will start with a visit to the Laxman Jhula that is a suspension bridge on the Ganges River. Do not forget to visit Parmarth Niketan Aashram where you should participate in Yoga and Meditation session under the supervision of a Guru. Next in the itinerary is the Neer Garh Waterfall and Neelkanth Mahadev Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. You can take a walk on the banks of Ganges River after completing this sightseeing in the evening before coming back to the hotel.

After having a delicious breakfast at the hotel, visit some other famous temples for prayers and start travelling back to Delhi where you will meet our representative who will drop you at the airport to start your journey back to home.
