Day 01 / Arrival Delhi
After the warmth Indian traditional "Swaagat" at the IGI airport in Delhi, our representative will take you to check in at hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at hotel in Delhi.
Day 02 / Sightseeing Tour of Delhi
After your delicious breakfast, you have a trip to historical monuments in Delhi. Visit magnificent Red Fort, Jama Masjid, largest mosque in Asia, both built by Shah Jahan, Rajghat-memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. After lunch, trip of New Delhi to include Humanyun Tomb, Qutub Minar, India Gate, Birla Mandir and many more. Dinner and overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 03 / Delhi - Patna
Early in the morning the flavorful breakfast will be served you at the hotel and just picked up from the hotel and dropped at the airport to board the flight to Patna which is 2500 year old ancient city in India. On arrival at Patna airport, you will be transferred to check in at hotel for a short comfortable rest. Thereafter, set out for excursion to Vaishali whereas Lord Buddha preached his last sermon announcing his approaching Nirvana. Explore stupas holding urns containing ashes of Buddha and Ashok pillar erected by Emperor Ashoka to mark places consecrated by Buddha, also known Madhubani paintings in current time. Dinner and overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 04 / Patna - Rajgir
After taking your healthy breakfast at the hotel, drive to Rajgir approx. 102kms for two hours. Rajgir, the capital of 6th century Magadha Empire, was well-regarded site of Buddhas discourses. Buddha spent many years at this point. Perambulate Gridhrakula, Sapataparni cave, Ajatsatru fort and Venuvana. After having hot lunch visit Nalanda - the oldest university in the world, founded in the 5th century. Also perambulate monasteries and temples with impressive Buddhist & Hindu images. The Institute for research into Buddhism and Pali literature that houses rare manuscripts is also worth visiting for the enthusiasts. Archaeological museum is also not to be missed for the unusual collections. Dinner and overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 05 / Rajgir - Bodhgaya
After breakfast early in the morning, you will be driven to Bodhgaya (193kms / 4hrs) by deluxe vehicle. En-route visiting Baraliar caves - the earliest examples of rock cut caves. Most remarkable craftsmanship of carving and rock inscription can be seen. These caves served as inspiration for the setting of E.M Foresters "A Passage to India". On arrival Bodhgaya, proceed to check in at hotel for relaxing overnight.
Day 06 / Bodhgaya
Bodhgaya is complied the sanctified pilgrimage centre of Buddhist. It was the place where Gautama achieved enlightenment and became Buddha under the "Bodhi" tree Satabodhi temple, Japanese and Tibetan monasteries along with Magadha university museum are also to be explored. Dinner and overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 07 / Bodhgaya - Varansi
Early in the morning after breakfast, drive 243kms for 5hrs to Varanasi. Arrival in the afternoon in Varanasi, proceed to the hotel. After taking hot lunch you will be transferred to visit ghats, temples and Benaras Hindu University. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 08 / Varanasi - Sarnath
Early in the morning, transfer to enjoy of boat riding on River Ganges to see the beautiful sunrise Ganges Early morning boat ride on river Ganges to see the beautiful sunrise at Ganges. Thereafter, you will be served the flavorful breakfast and then excursion to Sarnath which is the principle centre of Buddhism. Here around 530 B.C, Buddha preached his 1st sermon after attaining enlightenment. Also perambulate Dhamekh and Dharmarajika stupas. For dinner and overnight you will be come back to hotel.
Day 09 / Varanasi - Kishinagar
After mouth-watering breakfast, you will be transferred to Kushinagar which is the place where Buddha passed into Parinirvana. On arrival you explore Ramabha stupa stands on the spot where the body of the Lord was cremated, and also visit Natha Kumarka Kot enshrining the large recumbent figure of Buddha in the state of Nirvana. Dinner and overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 10 / Kushinagar - Lumbini - Balrampur
After your morning breakfast, excursion to Lumbini is the place where Buddha was born; an ancient shrine with an image representing the nativity of Buddha is still preserved. After lunch drive to Balrampur and visit Sravasti and other Buddhist shrines en-route. Reaching Sravasti, check in at hotel for delicious dinner and relaxing overnight stay.
Day 11 / Balrampur - Lucknow - Agra
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will be driven to lucknow railway station or airport to board the train or flight for Agra. On arrival, proceed to check in at hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight will be at hotel.
Day 12 / Agra - Delhi - Departure
Early after breakfast in the morning, proceed to visit the historical as well as unique building the Taj Mahal also called the symbol of love between Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. Thereafter, transfer to the international airport of Delhi board the flight for onward destination or back home.
